2010 CIAC Division 3 State High School Ice Hockey Championship – Brookfield-Bethel-Danbury (BBD) vs. Guilford

NEW HAVEN- Guilford used a strong offense and timely defense to top Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury and win the Division III Ice Hockey State Championship, 7-3, at Yale's Ingalls Rink.

Troy Raccuia had a hat trick for Guilford, who out-shot the Ice Cats, 23-15.  The Indians scored 21 goals as a team in their three state tournament games.

Guilford joins Hamden and Amity as teams from the Southern Connecticut Conference to win ice hockey championships this year.
