2010 CIAC Division 1 State High School Ice Hockey Championship – Hamden vs. Fairfield Prep
CTSNNEW HAVEN- The Hamden Green Dragons took home a second straight state championship as they topped Fairfield Prep in a thrilling Division I championship game, 6-5.
The teams traded goals throughout the entire game, before the Green Dragons tallied the game winner in the third period.
Adam Devine led Hamden with 1 goal and 3 assists, including an assist in the game winner.
The win also marked the third state championship for a team from the Southern Connecticut Conference. Amity won in Division II, and Guilford won in Division III.
