2009 CIAC Division II Girls State High School Lacrosse Championship – Immaculate vs. St. Bernard
CTSNTRUMBULL- The 11th seeded Immaculate Mustangs stunned top seed St. Bernard, 10-4, to win the Division II Girl's Lacrosse State Championship.
Andrea Westervelt led Immaculate with five unassisted goals in the game. Megan Mitchell also added three goals for the Mustangs.
With the win, and the state championship, Immaculate finishes the season with a record of 14-8. The Saints finish the season at 19-2.
