2010 CIAC Class M Boy’s State High School Basketball Championship – Sheehan vs. Bloomfield

UNCASVILLE- The Sheehan Titans pulled the surprise of the championship weekend with a stunning 72-61 win over favored Bloomfield at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Titans jumped out to a 15-0 lead less than three minutes into the first quarter.  The Warhawks never recovered until later in the game, but by that point, the state title was out of reach.

Sheehan was led by John Songer, who scored 24 points.  Phil Gaetano added 16 points and 10 rebonds, and 4 steals.
