2010 CIAC Class L Boy’s State High School Basketball Championship – New London vs. Stratford

UNCASVILLE- The Stratford boy's basketball team made it 2 state titles in 3 years as they knocked off New London in the Class L State Championship, 51-47, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The win on Saturday also finished off an undefeated season for the Red Devils.  They finished up at 27-0, and in second place overall in the state polls, behind only state champion Bridgeport Central.

Gatorade State Player of the Year Brandon Sherrod finished the game with 8 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks. 

The announced attendance at the game was 8,422, another great showing for the state championship games at Mohegan Sun Arena.
