2009 Class MM State High School Football Championship – East Lyme vs. New Canaan

STRATFORD- The New Canaan Rams used an aerial assault and a stifling defense to shutout out East Lyme and take home the Class MM Football State Championship, 28-0.

Quarterback Turner Baty threw four touchdown passes, three to of those going to Cody Newton.  The Rams racked up 383 yards of total offense.

The Rams defense shut down the potent Vikings attack, holding them to just 143 yards of total offense.

For New Canaan, it also marked the fourth straight season with a state championship victory.
